SMART Airports Europe 2021 is taking place at the Messe München, Munich on Tuesday 9 – Friday 12 November 2021.
inter airport Europe 2021, the 22nd International Exhibition for airport equipment, technology, design and services will, once again, take place at the Messe München in Munich, Germany. SMART Airports Europe 2021 is a series of four, one-day conferences and the official set of conferences which run alongside inter airport Europe. Beginning on Tuesday 9 November 2021, the SMART Airports Europe 2021 conferences will provide delegates with stimulating topics and information as well as the chance to network and hear from a wide range of influential speakers.
Each day of SMART Airports Europe 2021 will be its own individual conference which will investigate numerous themes and insights. The topics for each day will be:

WheelTug plc www.wheeltug.com is certifying an innovative in-wheel electric taxi system that enables aircraft to taxi forward and backward using twin electric motors integrated in the nose wheels. The retrofit system is leased to airlines. WheelTug expects to offer particular savings in ground turnaround time and increased aircraft utilization. In combination with WheelTug Vision camera system WheelTug will significantly improve safety of aircraft ground operations. Reductions in fuel, reduced engine and brake wear, emissions, and other expenses bring total savings to more than $1,000 per flight. The system is expected to enter service, initially for Boeing 737NG aircraft, by 2022.
