Partrick Verhulst is Director Amsterdam Airport City at amsterdam inbusiness and Senior Strategic Advisor Investments & Business Climate at the Municipality Haarlemmermeer.

amsterdam inbusiness is the official foreign investment agency of the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. In both roles he is helping investors and companies to establish and expand their businesses.

Next to that he is responsible for the international business ecosystem of the “Amsterdam Aerotropolis” (airport district). Touch points are the “Investment Climate”, the international positioning and marketing, as well as attracting new and business development of current established foreign investors and companies, to build onward for a robust and future-proof economy. Previously he worked for Samsung, LG Electronics and Heineken.

Klaas Boersma is Senior Strategic Advisor at Schiphol Airport, one of Europe’s leading hub airports, his role involves providing strategic guidance, advising on critical decisions, and shaping the airport’s long-term vision and masterplan. His extensive expertise and commitment to sustainability help to drive Schiphol’s intermodal agenda. Klaas’s influence extends beyond the boundaries of Schiphol. He has been at the forefront of efforts to extend the Amsterdam metropolitan metro lines, a crucial initiative for enhancing regional connectivity. He works closely with key stakeholders, including government bodies and rail authorities, to improve air-rail connectivity, making it more convenient and efficient forpassengers to use alternative modalities. Klaas also sits on the board of Railforum, a rail sector community that aims to bring together all stakeholders within the Dutch rail sector, and had a role as Chair for Taskforce International Rail Transport. Klaas supervises academics in the field airport planning and multimodal hub development in collaboration with the Technical University Delft and Academy of Architecture at the Amsterdam University of Arts.

Marnix (Max) Groot is strategic advisor for aviation at the Province of North Holland (Provincie Noord Holland), where he focuses on aviation policy and community relations. Max is a seasoned airport development expert with over two decades of experience in the field. His expertise spans a wide range of areas including airport master planning, terminal planning, commercial planning, business planning, air service development, privatization, and organizational restructuring.

Additionally, he is the Managing Editor and proprietor of Momberger Airport Information, a distinguished executive newsletter renowned for its coverage of global airport development. Established in 1972, Momberger Airport Information stands as the world’s oldest independent airport publication. Marnix is also the Founder and Editor of, a reputable online publication dedicated to chronicling the developmental history of airports worldwide.

Prior to his current position with the Provincial government, Marnix held key roles at prominent organizations such as IATA, Lufthansa Consulting, NACO Netherlands Airport Consultants, Royal Schiphol Group, Transavia Airlines, Dutch Air Traffic Control, and KLM Cargo. His extensive background and diverse experience make him a highly respected figure in the field of airport development.
