Join us in kicking off the 2024 SMART Airports & Regions Conference & Exhibition in Denver with a tour that will highlight real estate initiatives and developments at Denver International Airport (DEN). With approximately 53 square miles of land area, DEN has the second largest land ownership of any airport in the world and with a strategic goal of serving more than 100 million passengers annually, DEN’s growth and real estate opportunities are expanding quickly.

The tour will highlight:

  • The Center of Equity and Excellence in Aviation (CEEA)
  • The future Consolidated Rent A Car (CONRAC)/Rental Car Row facilities as well as the West Approach District, which will feature restaurants, hospitality, and retail.
  • The next stops will be the Gaylord Hotel and Convention Center and DEN’s 72nd and Himalaya District featuring mixed-use entertainment and hospitality development and a potential future rail stop.
  • Finally, we will visit two transit-oriented development locations, 61st and Pena Station & 40th Ave and Airport Blvd – Gateway Park Station.

This guided tour will take place on Wednesday 10 July from 9.00 – 11.00 am. Buses will pick up at the Colorado Convention Center between 8.00 – 8.15 am and return to the same location after the tour.

This tour is included in the two and three-day registration fees, however, places are very limited. Places will be available on a first-come first-served basis.
