Did you know that El Paso is known as the Boot Capital of the World? Visit the Lucchese Boot Store near the airport. Meet with a bootmaker and see what it takes to create the hand-made authentic West-Texas boots. Browse the variety of boots that are made at the Lucchesi factory, which is located on EPIA property. EPIA has been on the forefront of non-aeronautical revenue, with its two industrial parks located on airport property since the 1960s.
Located in the Chihuahuan Desert, the EPIA and the region must be mindful of water usage. Take a behind the scenes tour of the largest inland water desalination plant in the world, and Enviro Water Minerals Company located on airport property who not only contributes to the non-aeronautical development of the airport land but also enhances the city’s supply of drinking water by converting the desalination waste into beneficial products.
Take a tour of the NASA Johnson Space Center Forward Operation Location. This location serves as a maintenance depot for NASA’s T-38 fleet of aircraft, and the home of the Super Guppy transport plane. Learn about the unique history of aviation in the El Paso region and the role this location played in the Shuttle missions.

Launching online reservation for airport parking & non-parking products
This session is designed to provoke discussion between fellow airport professionals relating to the introduction of online reservations, leaving its participants with a better understanding of the benefits and challenges of a long term car parking strategy that includes online reservations.
The AeroParker team will lead the discussion and share their experiences working with 28 airports globally. They’ve vast experience in mature and immature pre book markets, as well as helping airports launch online reservations for the first time in the UK, Europe and notably the US.
