Mitch manages Mead & Hunt’s planning practice in the Western United States. He has worked across the country and abroad, from large hubs to general aviation fields. He helps airports prepare strategic, defensible, implementable plans and build support from local, state, and federal agencies to maximize funding eligibility. The plans Mitch and his team collaborate on with airport sponsors incorporate the right mix of vison, optimism, and tried-and-true fundamentals to keep airports ahead of the ever-changing curve. This allows airports to anticipate stakeholder and user expectations over the long-term. Mitch has recently focused on helping airports prepare for electrification of aircraft, automobiles, and buildings. Mitch is based in Portland, Oregon, and works worldwide. He has a degree in Urban Planning from Arizona State University, an MBA from the University of Oregon, and a certificate in Airport Financial Management from the International Air Transportation Association.
