Samuel G. Ingalls has worked in the industry for more than three decades, having spent 31 years in a leadership role at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas. He retired in early 2020 as its Assistant Director of Aviation, Information Systems, moving to industry work with Barich, Inc. At McCarran, Ingalls worked to usher in many innovative systems, being named a Computerworld-Smithsonian Laureate for technological innovation in the transportation industry. He continues to work closely with industry organizations, such as Airports Council International (ACI), International Air Transport Association (IATA) and others to innovate and to set new technical and process standards. He is currently co-leading the ACI-NA Working Group on 5G and CBRS private wireless networks. Samuel is a frequent user of the aviation system, holding a commercial multi-engine pilots license.
