Biography

Jade Liska has worked for the City of Kansas City, MO since 2005, serving in a variety of management roles, and in 2018 was promoted and well-positioned to be the Deputy Director of Planning and Engineering for the Aviation Department. Jade is familiar with all aspects of the Kansas City International airport’s nearly 11,000 acres, as well as, the Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport nearly 700 acres
Jade was the Lead-Project Manager on building the new 1.5 Billion dollar single terminal and infrastructure project for Kansas City. The new terminal project opened on-time and on-budget on February 28th, 2023 since starting the project in 2017. In Jade’s almost 30-year career, he has spent 12 years in the private sector and the last 18 years in the public sector.
Jade is a licensed Professional Landscape Architect in the states of Kansas and Missouri and is a graduate of Iowa State University
